Let’s face it: buying gifts for men is a bit like solving a Rubik’s Cube—frustrating, confusing, and often resulting in a feeling of “did I do that wrong?”
Whether it’s for a birthday, holiday, or “just because,” choosing a gift for the men in your life can leave you wondering if you’re about to receive gratitude or a puzzled stare.
Can we help? We’ll try to!
First off, the perennial favourite: socks. It stumps me that something that is almost always never seen by anyone other than the wearer receives so much importance. Designer socks could work, but if you plan on getting him a pair of plain blacks, think again. Rather, think, because you didn’t the first time around.
Second, and this seems to be getting more popular, tech gadgets. I would say, stay away, unless they have given you a hint that they like something specific. Gifting tech for men is like solving the economic crisis, at least in his head! Requires lots of research (i.e. Googling what all those specs mean), comparison of features and costs, consultation with their friends, in-person visits to the showroom while secretly checking the price online, displaying non-existent negotiation skills, and then buying it himself. But if he’s given enough hints, then go ahead with the gadget of his choice. If not, read on…
There’s clothing, a safe gift for men. This is quite harmless no matter how you look at it, unless the man is particular about what he wears, which is rare. Don’t expect a Gifter-of-the-Year award, nor should you be upset if he doesn’t use it. If you’re Zen enough, go for it.
So what should you get him? We honestly don’t know. But we are going to leave you with a link of our products that we think he may like. Go ahead and try them out! We can’t guarantee he’ll like them (no one can!), but he will like the fact that his gift has helped someone’s livelihood.
