Pattachitra: The story of art
Jumman Khan remembers his first Pattachitra painting with his father. He was six, and the painting was that of an owl. He simply followed orders from his father and drew it.
Now, 25 years later, he actively looks for ways to promote the art, which literally translates into “cloth painting.” This art form has been around in one form or the other, for more than a thousand years.
